About me
Sammie started attending the Fairfax Church of Christ as a student in the late 80’s. Although he just passed 10 years of serving as a full time student minister, he considers his journey in ministry to be just beginning! Sammie graduated from the University of Virginia, both from the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Law. After 15 years of serving on Capitol Hill and in the private sector in the Washington, DC area, he happily accepted God’s call to work and serve alongside the junior high and high school students of Fairfax's congregation! Sammie and his wife Jill have one son, Max, and 3 year old Cavapoo, Andre. When not writing biographies for NCYM, he enjoys all things movies (watching, talking about, reading about, and writing them), games, music (especially of the 80’s), a good cup of coffee, and long conversations with friends!
