About me
Becky Burroughs has served in a variety of leadership positions for over 50 years, as a small
business owner, a high school principal at Dallas Christian School, and for the past 17 years, a minister at the Highland Oaks Church of Christ in Dallas, where she has held a variety of
positions: Administration Minister, Children’s Minister, Executive Minister, and now, Outreach
Minister. She directs Hope 4 Lake Highlands, a food pantry that provides food and clothing for people experiencing poverty in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas.
Becky is also a certified Life/Leadership Coach for women in ministry, as well as women who run nonprofits or small business.
Becky is a speaker and author. Her book: Come Back Home to You instantly became an
Amazon best seller, as did her collaborative book: Elevate Your Voice.
In an effort to heal from loss upon loss, she developed a strategic approach to navigating life’s transitions and embracing the next chapter, which is the foundation of her book.
Although coaching is her passion, family is her life and she looks for any opportunity to spend time with the families of her four children, including nineteen grandchildren.
Her favorite people call her Nana.
