About me
Hanna Thrasher is a passionate advocate for inclusivity within churches. Holding a degree in special education from Harding University, Hanna combines academic expertise with real-life experience. Hanna worked as a youth minister for almost six years before assuming the role of Special Needs Minister at Highland Church of Christ. She works to ensure that individuals ranging from children to adults with special needs are welcomed and supported in their faith journeys. In her role, she has implemented events from a special needs prom to a special needs VBS that have fostered a sense of belonging for all participants. She will share some practical tips, insights, strategies, and stories that bring to light the importance of inclusive practices and how every church can be a place where all belong!
